COMMISSIONS AT STARCH GREEN STUDIO

STARCH GREEN STUDIO has a distinctive style combining pattern with fine typography and illustration, using the design skills of Jonathan Mercer and Kate Fishenden. We take commissions for many types of graphic design and can deliver artwork as you require (even electronically).

The Studio has a Printshop (shed) which houses our Albion Press (amongst others), where we produce our limited edition prints, artist’s proofs, small run labels, cards and letterheads and hand-set artwork, as well as more modern facilities (like the trusty Macintosh with new fangled software).

As artist-designers we enjoy being commissioned to do nice:

The Studio also produces self-commissioned pieces for the Starch Green Shop including cards, postcards, labels, notebooks, illustrated books, ceramics and textiles.

Jonathan has produced many wood engravings as illustrations for use in commercial projects from packaging and stationery to advertising, publishing, corporate print and private projects. His book of commissioned work is available from the shop at £15.
