Kate has had a lifelong passion for ceramics, having collected them since she was young. When we started Starch Green we were therefore determined to apply some of our designs to them.

We were fortunate to have a very old friend who ran a small ceramics studio who was happy to work with us to create new designs, in small quantities, and at modest prices.

We started with comet mugs in four different colours - eventually expanding to six, and soon introduced the extremely popular Kindness Jug. A little later we created the Tide Song range, as well as espresso cups and saucers.

Alas our friend retired recently, and we are now actively looking for a new collaborator. We have plans for lots of new designs - watch this space...
