Menabilly Beach

By Kate Fishenden
From the ongoing series, A Sense of Place

Menabilly was the home of Daphne du Maurier for many years, and an inspiration for Manderley in Rebecca. The beach is quiet and magical, this print conjuring up the colours and calmness with kelp, red seaweed, a crab claw, a butterfly shell and a splatter of sand.
